Course Description

This course is intended to be a follow up for the Substance Abuse Evaluation Initial Training where participants can submit 2 Adult Substance Abuse Evaluations for review and expert feedback. Upon completion, participants will receive their certification of completion meeting Nebraska state standards.

 

Learning Objectives

  1. Using the knowledge gained in the Substance Abuse Evaluation Initial Training, participants will understand how to complete 2 complete evaluations on adult clients.
  2. Participants will receive feedback on their submissions from an expert in the field to ensure standards are met for clinical and ethical evaluation for substance abuse

Target Learner

The target learner for this training is mental health clinicians and social workers, provisional and licensed alcohol and drug counselors.
