Course Description
This specialized training expands on foundational substance use evaluation skills to address the unique needs of juvenile clients. Participants will explore developmental and contextual differences in evaluating youth, including school history, family and peer influences, and trauma considerations. The training also reviews juvenile-specific screening tools, the role of collateral contacts, and how to balance therapeutic and justice system recommendations in evaluation reports.
